Caleb - Occupational Therapist
G'Day, I'm Caleb 👋
I grew up in Dorrigo, a small town in rural NSW. My journey into Occupational Therapy began at home, watching my older brother navigate life with multiple neurodevelopmental conditions. Through his experiences and our family's journey with the NDIS, I saw first hand the impact the right strategies can have on a person's life.
That experience sparked a lifelong passion. After graduating university, I worked across various practices specialising in paediatric and young adult neurodivergence. I founded Summit Occupational Therapy Services to channel that experience and passion into a dedicated service.
The photo at the top of this website's home page was taken at the highest peak in Dorrigo, a summit I climbed alongside my brother after we challenged each other to take on the remote trail. That climb inspired our name. Rooted in the belief that every young adult has their own summits to climb, we equip our clients and their carers with the practical skills and strategies they need to navigate life's challenges and achieve the goals they set for themselves.
Hey, I'm Andrea 👋
I also grew up in a small town in central-west NSW, which gave me a strong appreciation for community and genuine connection.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychological Science and have experience working in various roles across disability support, sport and recreation, management, and customer service. I joined this practice to apply these skills to helping people with disability acheive their unique summits.
I help keep our practice running behind the scenes, looking after customer service and general admin. My main focus is building a warm easygoing rapport so our clients and their family's are supported every step of the way. I also work alongside Caleb to deliver Therapy Assistant services to clients who benefit from this additional support.
