Supporting young adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities is exactly what Summit OT Services was intentionally built for and the area we are passionate about. Our systems, resources, and clinical approach are all focused on providing a high quality service tailored to the unique needs of this group of people. By dedicating ourselves to this single area rather than spreading ourselves across multiple practice areas, we are able to deliver focused, higher quality care. To maintain this standard, we also intentionally keep our business small and our caseloads manageable, giving us the flexibility to provide a more dedicated and personalised service to every client we work with.
We do not charge the full NDIS rate just because we can. As an online based business, our overheads are low and we endeavour to return our savings to our clients, to create not only a quality but value for money service while also taking the steps in supporting the long-term sustainability of the NDIS. While the NDIS cap price is $193.99/hr, our rate is currently $180/hr for all of our OT services. Another example of how keep costs low is only charging a 50% cancellation fee on any cancelled appointment rather than the typical 100%. Having the capacity to provide OT Assistant services also helps keep costs low while improving therapy outcomes by allowing more frequent access to our support.
Summit OT was born from family lived experience. Growing up alongside an older brother with a neurodevelopmental disability, our founder, Caleb, understands the daily realities of the families we support. As young adults themselves, Caleb and Andrea also bring a warm and relatable energy to every interaction allowing them to build genuine trust and rapport with their clients, replacing rigid clinical stiffness with an authentic connection that improves therapy outcomes.
